We’re thrilled to announce a new special offer to all clients. Every Wednesday, we’re providing canine spay and neuter surgeries, as well as feline spay procedures, all for the flat rate of $350 each.
Please note, this special offer has certain requirements: The pets must be healthy (no bulldogs or other brachycephalic breeds), weigh under 10 kg, and be no older than 3 years. We’re unable to make exceptions to these conditions.
When booking a surgery, you should apply the coupon code “SPECIAL”. No other confirmation is required for “Happy Wednesday”. At Weldrick Animal Hospital in Richmond Hill, we pride ourselves on transparency. Our surgery fees are all-inclusive, covering not only the procedure itself but also pain medications, intravenous fluid therapy, and continuous monitoring. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees. Please note, the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is additional.
Our services aren’t limited to Richmond Hill. We’re pleased to extend our special offer to clients from Markham, Newmarket, Thornhill, Vaughan, Maple, Aurora, North York, and the Toronto area.

For the safety and well-being of your pet during surgery, we require the following precautions:
1. Core Vaccination (Rabies): Before the surgery or on the day of the procedure, ensure that your pet’s rabies vaccination is up-to-date. Proof of vaccination will be requested at the time of drop-off.
2. Heartworm Test: If your pet is not current on heartworm testing (which should be done within the last year), consider getting it done before the surgery. This helps minimize risks during the procedure.
3. Partnering with a Veterinarian: If you don’t currently have a veterinarian, now is an excellent opportunity to establish a relationship. Having a trusted vet ensures ongoing care for your pet’s future health.
Remember, these measures are essential for a successful surgery and to prevent complications. Your pet’s safety is our priority!
If your pet requires any vaccinations or a heartworm test, here are the associated prices:
Rabies Vaccination: $35
Heartworm Test: $30

When scheduling surgeries, we kindly request a non-refundable deposit of $90, which is later deducted from your surgery cost. This deposit secures your time slot, but please note that it becomes non-refundable if you choose to cancel or reschedule your surgery appointment.
Additionally, for your convenience, we offer all necessary core vaccinations at an extra charge.
